Cider Cottage is a converted barn on a small family farm and sleeps 2 - 5 plus cot and highchair. Canal Farm Bungalow is comfortably furnished with panoramic views and sleeps 2 to 6. Set in beautiful countryside on the outskirts of the village of North Tamerton on the Devon / Cornwall border.
Trout fishing in the adjoining River Tamar. North Tamerton is 10 miles from the excellent beaches at Bude and Widemouth Bay, North Cornwall and is an ideal location for exploring the Noth Cornwall Coast with its surfing beaches and many tourist attractions or for visiting Dartmoor and Exmoor.

Cider Cottage
Cider Cottage has been recently converted from a barn and is a semi-detached cottage in a pretty setting on a small family farm, in what was once a farmyard, at the end of a short farm lane , with the original farmhouse opposite. Small rear garden. BBQ & garden furniture. Play areas for children on the old farmyard areas as visible in photo & in fields. A stroll to lovely river walks beside the Tamar on the farm with trout fishing (worm, fly or spinning) and also walks along part of the old Bude Canal. 13 miles to Upper Tamar Lakes Water Park which is a nature reserve and has hire facilities for canoeing, windsurfing and sailing. Just outside Kilkhampton are two reasonably priced and very good children’s adventure parks.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Duvets. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, washing machine. Lounge / diner with colour TV and video. Bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Heating by night storage heaters in both bedrooms, hallway and in lounge / diner. Also electric heaters.

Canal Farm Bungalow

Comfortably furnished detached 1940’s bungalow just outside North Tamerton village, 10 miles from the lovely sandy beaches at Widemouth Bay and Bude, North Cornwall. An attractive country setting on the edge of the village, with beautiful panoramic views over the valley and the Claw, Deer and Tamar rivers. Just a short stroll down to the picturesque slightly humped bridge over the river Tamar (enter the fields at this point, which are part of the bungalow owner's farm, and enjoy the river walks (even try a spot of trout fishing using worm or spinner!) and the little bridge over the river Deer. Another walk is up the lane, onto the owner’s Well Farm, through the gate, down the field and along the remains of what was the upper reaches of Bude Canal. The bungalow has its own driveway entrance (visible in photo), and so is set away from the road. There is a large enclosed garden, with a few apple trees etc. The rear of the bungalow is adjacent to a hay barn and other farm buildings, and is fenced off and separate from the holiday bungalow grounds. This bungalow is ideal for those seeking plenty of space, peace and quiet and unspoilt countryside.
