SITUATION The cottages are traditionally converted stone barns - part of a working farm set in beautiful open countryside. Guests are welcome to enjoy all that the farm has to offer, from seeing the cows and calves, pigs or miniature Shetland ponies, to quiet walks around the farm.
We are only a short walk fom the Eden Project. Visitors who walk to Eden are eligible for a £4.00 discount. The sandy beaches of St Austell Bay are within easy reach and the surfing beaches of North Cornwall are just a short drive away. Newquay airport 10 miles, mainline railway 2 miles, easy road access. Shopping centres: St Austell, 10 minutes - Truro, 30 minutes
THINGS TO DO The maritime heritage of Cornwall is on display at nearby Charlestown as well as at the new National Maritime Museum at Falmouth. There are numerous gardens and National Trust properties in the area - The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Tregrehan Gardens and Lanhydrock House are just three. A wide variety of flora and fauna may be seen walking through the picturesque Luxulyan Valley along the old Saints Way - "forth an syns" in Cornish - a 26 mile footpath from Padstow to Fowey. Cycling, horse riding and sea-fishing are also available.
ACCOMMODATION
The Cart House
is a detached single storey unit with lounge / dining room, fitted kitchen,
bathroom with walk-in shower, double bedroom with room for cot. Suitable
for the partially disabled (please ask for details). Sleeps 2 + cot.
The Hay Barn
is a single storey unit with entrance hall, lounge / dining room, fitted
kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower, one double bedroom and one single bedroom. Sleeps 3 + cot.
The Dairy
is a semi-detached cottage with lounge / dining room, fitted kitchen,
bathroom with walk-in shower on ground floor. Open-plan stairs to one
double bedroom with superb views over surrounding countryside. Sleeps
2 + cot.
The Mill House
has a lounge / dining room, fitted kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower
on ground floor. First floor has one double bedroom with room for a
cot, one smaller bedroom with two 3ft beds. Sleeps 4 + cot.
The Stable
has an entrance hall, lounge / dining room, fitted kitchen, bathroom
with walk-in shower. First floor has one double bedroom with room for
a cot and one twin room and one single room. Sleeps 5 + cot.
All five cottages are fully equipped with:
