St Ives holidays evoke images of surfing on blue seas, picnicking on the beach and painting in the golden light of St Ives Bay. This old fishing town has been a busy port since the middle ages and has always been famed for its art associations. St Ives has a huge selection of art galleries and art workshops as well as a number of wonderful shops selling locally hand-made goods and fantastic clothes and craft items.

The town is a true epicentre of arts and crafts in the South West thanks to the world famous Tate Gallery alongside the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Gardens.
