Self-Catering
holiday cottage in Cornwall - wide variety of holiday cottages available
in TREVORROW HOUSE
14 NEW ROAD, NEWLYN, PENZANCE, CORNWALL, TR18 5PZ
INTRODUCTION Trevorrow House was built in the 19th century and has been completely renovated and equipped to a high standard. The accommodation is light, airy and spacious. The location, in the heart of Newlyn, is particularly good. Newlyn is a busy working fishing port between Penzance and Mousehole. Trevorrow house is almost adjacent to the Newlyn Art Gallery, on a good bus route, and a level walk to Penzance and moments from the sea and a cycle path to Marazion. Opposite is the famous Jelbert's ice cream shop, and there are cafes, shops and all amenities of the village within a few steps. THINGS TO DO West Cornwall is dotted with prehistoric sites and relics of its tin mining heritage, and there are many coastal and inland walks. There are many beaches nearby, with Mount's Bay and St Michaels Mount at Marazion particularly close at hand. Art galleries are everywhere, particularly in St Ives. From Penzance you can get trains or buses to most parts of Cornwall (eg Eden project, Maritime Museum at Falmouth), and a helicopter or ferry to the Isles of Scilly. Sport and leisure activities are also available locally. There are plenty of leaflets in the house.
