This detached property sits in a commanding position with amazing views across the countryside towards the Argal reservoir and to the sea beyond. A tranquil retreat, in a glorious location.

Burrowed deep in the glorious Cornish countryside, this one-storey cottage couldn't be a more ideal location for a holiday. Beautifully decorated, with a bright contemporary feel, the vaulted ceilings of this converted workshop give it an air of space and light. Wake up to beautiful far-reaching views towards the Argal reservoir and the sea beyond and listen to the shallow stream trickling by as you sit out in the garden.

Whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the open-plan living area or putting your feet up on the terrace while your other half sizzles up a treat on the BBQ, you'll be treated to uninterrupted views of both the pretty garden and countryside beyond. The interior complements the colour palette outside; warm greys, greens, yellows and blues run throughout the cottage giving a chirpy holiday feel. Special touches such as the glamorous bedroom chandelier and satin cushions offer a hint of luxury and romance.

Drive 4 miles south to the popular town of Falmouth for a day at one of its superb beaches. Visit one of Henry VIII's most magnificent coastal fortresses, Pendennis Castle, or try a spot of sailing. Join the South West Coast Path here and discover the Lizard Heritage Coast, or drive 20 miles out to the famous Lizard Point. Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
