The place was lovely as was the owners. Great value for money and the people in the London inn pub in the village made us feel so welcome including our dog Zeus. Only negative point is that I had to use the car to walk my dog as the country lanes have no paths , but thats Cornwall, and not the owners fault . O

Arriving at Ashgrove Barn for a much needed rest after the run up to Christmas in our business we were greeted by the lovely George and Irene, who couldn't have been more charming and helpful. Ashgrove Barn itself is perfect placed for visiting local attractions, and it's peaceful setting allowed us to enjoy our stay in both comfort and privacy.

Our second visit to this lovely property. There were several improvements from last year made by the new owners. Can't think of anything else they need to do to it, just perfect. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
