A charming ground floor apartment set within a magnificent country house offering stunning surroundings and tranquillity.

A gorgeous ground-floor apartment in an impressive country house. The landscape surrounding this property is dotted with woodland and lakes, and the splendour of the view can be taken in from the garden doors. Throw them open while you lounge on the sofas or dine in the evening, then step onto the patio to enjoy the spectacular views and chat about your Cornish experiences over a glass of bubbly during a warm evening.

Classic elegance has been drawn on for decor, with traditional furniture and intricate touches having been added throughout the interior. Stone walls in the kitchen have been painted in pastels while warm colours provide an opulent but homely living room. Light falls through large open windows keeping it a bright and airy space for couples who are after a romantic break secluded away in Cornwall.

A very relaxing short stay. Although part of a shared house, the apartment is private and quiet. It's very nicely decorated and well equipped, to include a wood burner fire, comfortable bed and furniture. A home from home, close to the coast. Andy, the host, was welcoming and helpful.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
