One-bedroomed single-storey property, in a tranquil location close to the town of Truro and in easy reach of beaches and harbour villages.

Rose's Stable is a peaceful bungalow at the end of a long tree-lined drive, suitable for two. The garden is overflowing with pretty shrubbery, increasing the peace and privacy on offer, and there's a wide patio for enjoying afternoon tea or a quiet evening drink. It's located in the perfect region for visiting Cornwall's top local attractions or for hiding away from it all amongst a stunning rural landscape.

Wood panelling combined with exposed stonework gives the exterior of this house a stylish appearance, while inside there is a warm and inviting living space where you can relax into that ‘holiday feeling'. Cheerful decor is achieved with bright tiles lining the kitchen and colourful throws and cushions throughout. It was designed for two, with an intimate kitchen worktop, single sofa for cosying up together, and a farmhouse-style table and two chairs for those romantic evenings dining in.

Only 4 miles away you'll find the traditional town centre of Truro with colourful houses, markets and independent boutiques. It is less than 10 miles down to the wonderful Trelissick Gardens with over 300 acres to explore and the River Fal running past. Visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan (14 miles) or Eden Project (20 miles) for a great day out. Stop by the secluded Portholland Beach on the south coast or Perranporth to the north, known for its rugged coast and surf culture.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Roses Stable is a lovely cottage, ideal for a peaceful base whilst exploring Cornwall. The cottage is very well equipped and has comfortable furnishings, perfect for a couple. Set in a pretty courtyard, there is outdoor seating space which we enjoyed in the evenings. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely little stable conversion. All new with all equipment possible, Sofa could perhaps have been a bit more comfortable as we had a few wet days! But overall fabulous

Was a lovely cottage and exactly like the photos if not better! Location was perfect for exploring North and South of Cornwall however the property was further away from the main road than we expected. Not an issue for us but might for others. Cottage is very secluded and feels private which was lovely.

Rosies cottage is beautiful and the shared courtyard garden is glorious and dog friendly. The cottage itself is freshly decorated, clean and has lots of room. A lovely tranquil place to stay , near to Truro and both coasts. It is very peaceful and the surrounding farm and fields are great for exploring ( ask where you can walk as there are crops anRead mored livestock in some) The wild life is good to, with house martins, deer, pheasants and hares. This is a delightful, fully equipped cottage in a tucked away in a peaceful location yet with easy access to all parts of the county. It is beautifully decorated and very cosy. The owners were very welcoming and had left starter provisions such as tea, coffee etc.

We loved our time at the cottage and the sense of isolation and peace was sublime. We especially enjoyed the chance to sit out in the courtyard and listen to the bird song and to relax away from tourists. It's a great place to explore the far reaches of Cornwall and the stable was extremely well equipped and comfortable with all mod cons and a deliRead moreghtful bathroom and kitchenette. We wanted a self catering holiday in central Cornwall and this was ideally located, no more than 90 minutes from all the major attractions. Super quiet and near to plenty of shops and pubs/restaurants and our hosts were most helpful and friendly.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
