One-bedroomed single-storey property, in a tranquil location close to the town of Truro and in easy reach of beaches and harbour villages.

Rose's Stable is a peaceful bungalow at the end of a long tree-lined drive, suitable for two. The garden is overflowing with pretty shrubbery, increasing the peace and privacy on offer, and there's a wide patio for enjoying afternoon tea or a quiet evening drink. It's located in the perfect region for visiting Cornwall's top local attractions or for hiding away from it all amongst a stunning rural landscape.

Wood panelling combined with exposed stonework gives the exterior of this house a stylish appearance, while inside there is a warm and inviting living space where you can relax into that ‘holiday feeling'. Cheerful decor is achieved with bright tiles lining the kitchen and colourful throws and cushions throughout. It was designed for two, with an intimate kitchen worktop, single sofa for cosying up together, and a farmhouse-style table and two chairs for those romantic evenings dining in.

Only 4 miles away you'll find the traditional town centre of Truro with colourful houses, markets and independent boutiques. It is less than 10 miles down to the wonderful Trelissick Gardens with over 300 acres to explore and the River Fal running past. Visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan (14 miles) or Eden Project (20 miles) for a great day out. Stop by the secluded Portholland Beach on the south coast or Perranporth to the north, known for its rugged coast and surf culture.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We wanted a self catering holiday in central Cornwall and this was ideally located, no more than 90 minutes from all the major attractions. Super quiet and near to plenty of shops and pubs/restaurants and our hosts were most helpful and friendly.

Beautiful converted stable, ample room and everything you need to cook etc. Really cosy and well presented. Plenty of parking and no issues when we turned up with a boat on a trailer! Fresh eggs straight from the hens and really tasty. Will definitely stay again, there is also B & B available at 75per night (fantastic value for money). Friendly ownRead moreers, approachable and lovely to speak to. Cannot recommend enough :) Hide

An excellent very well appointed cottage, in a very quite location. It was situated in an area which provided easy access to all of the main attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Highly recommended

The cottage was in a great location, but not within walking distance of any amenities you had to be able to drive to restaurants, pubs, etc. This we found was the only downside.

Reviewed by Andrew 19th May 2018

For those wanting to explore different parts of Cornwall its central location is ideal. The cottage was very comfortable all round. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
