A historic wing of a 16th century house tucked away in the midst of quiet farmland. Perfect position to explore Cornwall’s top towns and attractions.

Forming part of a 16th century longhouse, this cottage for two in the hills of Truro is the ideal place for a couple after a romantic break in spectacular Cornwall. It's the perfect location for accessing some great attractions in the South West and yet can be found in a quiet, secluded spot at the end of a long tree-lined drive. Take a drink out to the well-planted enclosed garden, and sit by the pond while the smell of the BBQ eases you into that ‘holiday feeling'.

The high apex ceiling and wide layout provide an open and airy feeling in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Beam sweep across the roof and farmhouse-style furniture set off this attractive layout. The boutique-style bedroom hints at luxury with romantic flourishes amongst the white decor. With calming colours and wood panelling throughout the rest of the cottage, it's the ideal place to unwind after a long day traversing the Cornish countryside and coast, and visiting the local attractions.

The iconic Eden Project is 20 miles from the property and is an essential stop for anyone on their first trip to Cornwall. The Lost Gardens of Heligan is 14 miles away or for a day at the beach, you can travel 10 miles up to Perranporth on the stunning north coast. The bustling town of Truro is dotted with historical attractions and has a gorgeous city centre with plenty of shops for buying fresh local produce and special souvenirs.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
