A lovingly refurbished bungalow in a quiet residential area, just a short stroll to the centre of Tintagel with a selection of quaint shops, pubs and attractions to explore.

Choose between the peaceful garden filled with beautiful blooms, or head out to enjoy invigorating coastal walks with four-legged friends at this dog-friendly Cornish hideaway. Briar Patch is the perfect place to lose yourself amidst the beauty and mysticism that the enchanted village of Tintagel is renowned for.

Start your holiday right with a delicious brunch and plan your day's adventures – with the choice of a contemporary dining area, an additional dining space in the light-filled conservatory or the sunny patio among the birds and the bees, you're sure to find a spot to relax. During the day, the open-plan living space is light and airy, but once the sun sets it becomes a cosy home-from-home with an electric fire to keep you warm in the winter months.

There's no better way to get into the Cornish holiday spirit than tucking into a warm pasty or a bag of clotted cream fudge, and Tintagel offers some of the finest on offer. Take a scenic drive to the foodie capital of Cornwall, Padstow, which is 24 miles away if you want to sample some fresh seafood, or head south towards the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project for a full day out, both under 35-miles drive.

We had a great stay at this lovely bungalow. Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated & very well equipped. Within walking distance to Tintagel village, which is extremely dog friendly and there are some great beaches near by too. Would definitely recommend staying here.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
