We loved the location of the cottage, quiet with beautiful views and just a short drive to the local beaches. Dorothy and Paul were very welcoming and had provided a lovely COVID secure accommodation, which had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be booking again in future.

Just what we had hoped for, Bumbledown Cottage gave the impression of being in the middle of nowhere but was only minutes away from Cornwall's motorway giving us easy access to explore the whole county with ease. The cottage was extremely well equipped and the perfect retreat after our busy days out. Our hosts were on hand if required but otherwiseRead more we felt like we were on our own - just like we hoped. Our only disappointment was we were only there for a week - nowhere near long enough! The cottage was just as we had hoped, immaculately clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We felt at home immediately and very safe and relaxed, which was a relief in the present Covid climate. The owners were lovely, we felt like nothing would have been too much trouble, although we didnt need anything. Would recommend to anyone.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
