This tranquil cornish cottage is perched on the coastal path between Mousehole and Lamorna Cove, with panoramic views of the coast and countryside.

Delightful detached cottage in a secluded spot, situated near the pretty fishing village of Mousehole on the southern tip of the glorious Cornish coast. With easy access to Penzance, the Minack Theatre, and a plethora of beautiful beaches and pretty villages, it is the perfect spot for a family holiday.

This extremely pretty, stone-built cottage is picture perfect inside and out. The traditional, cottage kitchen/diner is light, bright and welcoming, with characterful exposed beams and a cosy woodburner, and is a lovely space for family mealtimes. Sit back and relax in the cosy lounge, with its relaxing green and white decor, and enjoy toasting your toes in front of the woodburner on chillier evenings. Upstairs, the bedrooms have been prettily decorated, and all offer stunning views of the sparkling sea and the lush green Cornish countryside. After a day at the beach, enjoy a soak in the elegant roll-top bath before heading outside to enjoy an evening drink in the enclosed, secluded garden as the sun goes down.

Lovely Lamorna Cove is just a few minutes' walk from the cottage, and from there you can enjoy a coastal walk on the local stretch of the stunning South West Coast path. A short drive away is Porthcurno (6.5 miles), without doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall, with its pale sand and clear, turquoise water. Just beyond Porthcurno is the famous cliff-top Minack Theatre, carved into the cliffs and with the most spectacular views. The pretty fishing village of Mousehole (2.5 miles), with its charming harbour and cobbled streets, is just 10 minutes away. The bustling, port town of Penzance (4.5 miles) is famous for its lush, subtropical gardens and promenade that looks out towards magical St Michael's Mount - you can walk across the causeway to the island when the tide is out and explore the stunning castle and gardens.

The cottage is beautiful in a very peaceful and rural location. It has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds were all very comfortable and the views from the bedrooms were wonderful. Our dog throrougly enjoyed running round the garden. A short 15 min walk takes you to the little beach and cafe at Larmorna cove. We had a Read moregreat meal in the Larmona wink! The cottage a few doors down sells jams which are delicious. North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
