The cottage is very well furnished and very comfortable. Access to the river and the use of the pontoon is a major advantage as is the car parking arrangements. Staff at Holiday Cottages were extremely helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable and we look forward to returning.

The property had fabulous views of the river Fowey as it overlooks moorings for yachts and power boats. It was amazingly quiet and peacefully.

Lovely view of the river and boats from the bedroom and terrace. Good for watching the world go by. Very peaceful location, worth the very narrow and steep lane to the house.

Great cottage in a great location. The Terrace is wonderful for boats and people watching the kitchen has everything you need in the master bedroom has the view that everybody will argue over. Lovely little cottage, ideal for a couple..peaceful and fabulous view from bedroom. We enjoyed eating and having drinks on the patio. There is a China clay factory to the right of the property, but certainly does detract from the view of the inlet and moored boats. The cottage had a lovely little welcome pack and a good supply of crockery & pots & Read morepans. If you don't like driving down narrow lanes its possibly not the place for you, that aside its not too busy. All in all a lovely little place Hide

Wonderful location, loved the peace, the terrace for breakfast in the morning sun and the fact we could walk out from the property to catch the ferries across the water and back.

Had a really relaxing, peaceful holiday- was so comfortable and love the views of the river. Great being able to moor our boat on the pontoon- got used to going out and about around tide times and it really wasnt a problem. Will definitely book again.

This is a stunning location. A constantly-changing canvas viewed from the verandah.. WiFi problems mentioned in an earlier review were sorted. The house is pretty well set up... but... as 2 single friends who had split the cost, the difference between the 2 bedrooms was a problem: One magnificent, the other dull, single and sparse. Great holiday and fab views! Great to have a welcome pack which includes fudge, biscuits, chocolate and treats. It was great to also have a cleaning pack with a dishcloth, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets so no need to bring these. Washing area was really useful too. Very well equipped (apart from the t.v. not working) and beds exceptionally comfortable. We have stayed here about 7 times in the past and were surprised by the alterations to bathroom but it all worked well. The views are still to die for.
