This traditional stone cottage is located in the stunning Georgian harbour-side village of Charlestown, famously the location for hit TV shows Poldark and Hornblower. This well-preserved village will transport you back to times gone by, as you wander past the tall ships and visit the shipwreck museum. Further afield, The Eden Project is within an easy 10-minute drive and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are just twenty minutes away. For those looking to see more of the coast, the pretty towns of Mevagissey and Fowey are both within easy reach.

This ground floor property is a wonderful blend of both old and new. Many original features have been retained, including the wooden beams, whilst the décor is contemporary and stylish. Accessed via one step up from the entrance the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a great space for relaxing, with its comfortable sofas, Smart TV, and dining table, seating four. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. There are two bedrooms: one king size with en-suite shower room and the other with king size zip-and-link beds which can be made up as 2'6" twin beds (please request at the time of booking). Both bedrooms have their own Smart TV's. The stylish, main bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.

Heading out of Chy Marner, you are just a couple of minutes walk from Charlestown's beautiful harbour and beach.

We feel really at home here and this was our second visit this year. Already booked again for Spring! Everything is very clean and comfortable. It's great to have your own allocated parking bay behind the property. The cottage isn't by the harbour, it's just past Charlies coffee shop and is quite a steep walk up for anyone with mobility issues. The cottage is located in a lovely quiet area, with supermarket, places to eat and petrol stations only a short distance away. Very good possition for touring many well known areas in this part of Cornwall and so close to the Eden Project. The cottage is very well appointed, spotlessly clean and the beds are exstremly comfortable.

A brilliant week away, this is our 1st holiday since I was diagnosed with cancer and we found chy marner to be the perfect base, very close to the beach & amenities, Chy Marner is a lovely little cottage with everything you need the owners go out of there way with welcoming you, they provide tea, coffee, milk & biscuits on arrival, also washing up Read moreproducts & hand wash in both bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The parking is narrow but we easily navigated. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our break in this very comfortable cottage and have already booked again for six months time! Everything was cosy, warm and well equipped. The location was a bit tricky to find at first and they didn't even know where Merchants Quarter was in Charlie's coffee shop which is just a few doors away! Location in Charlestown is an excellent base for exploring the area. This was our first visit to Cornwall so we really enjoyed easy access to Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Only downside is entrance to cottage car park. Really difficult if you have a larger car - tight right angle corner. We scratched our car's paintwork on the stones whRead moreen we arrived. Chy Marner is a beautiful apartment, very accessible to all Charlestown has to offer. It has everything you can possibly need for a perfect holiday. Our Daughter has recently moved to Par and we will always try to book Chy Marner for our visits in the future. Jen and Paul Corrall

Great location. Cottage was pristine upon arrival and the decor is to a high standard. Arrival instructions were very easy to follow, we had no problems getting in. Lovely wander down to the harbour, and close by to lots of other places - Eden, Heligan and beaches all on the doorstep. Only drawback is no outdoor space at the property, but having spRead moreent all day on the beach, that didn't worry us too much. Hide

Lovely comfortable apartment. Everything was there. Close to all amenities and in a superb part of the world. Easy parking, although we did have a bit of a problem finding it as one of the pointers was a wooden head. When we found a local he said the wooden had had fallen off, but we got there in the end.

Beds are really comfy. Little extras in cleaning products and bin liners included. Short walk down hill to pubs bars and restaurants. Some beautiful walks and beaches on the doorstep. Great to explore the rest of the Cornwall coast from. Would definitely book here again.

Excellent apartment but the position of the apartment to the village was at the top of a hill so difficult for those who find it difficult to walk. We're unable to take car down to visit pubs or harbour as very little parking available.

The cottage was well equipped. A chair in the main bedroom would have been nice. But overall the cottage was very comfortable.
