Beautiful stone barn set in a complex surrounded by glorious countryside, but still within close reach of an abundance of sandy beaches and idyllic seaside towns

Surrounded by glorious countryside on a family-run arable farm, this beautiful stone barn blends original features with stylish interior design, setting the scene for a relaxing Cornish holiday. After a day wandering verdant pastures and exploring idyllic seaside towns nearby, Copperhouse – St Erth is a contemporary and comfortable abode to unwind in.

Part of a complex of four barn conversions, Copperhouse offers oodles of space with oak flooring, beamed ceilings and eco-friendly features. You'll be greeted by the traditional farmhouse-style stone facade, and inside the use of colour and comfy furnishings provide a cheerful, cosy ambience. Whether you soak up the Cornish sun on the patio embracing the peace and tranquillity that this location affords, curl up with a plate of warm scones and jam in the sumptuously furnished lounge, or relax with a good book in one of the immaculately finished bedrooms, you are assured a wonderful stay.

The open countryside surrounding the property means that there is plenty of space for walking, with the golden sands of Hayle's beach just 4 miles away. Hayle itself has a wealth of amenities, or a short drive of 7 miles will take you into St Ives, one of Cornwall's most picturesque destinations. Here you can delight in paper-wrapped fish and chips on the harbour and dip your toes in the sea on its soft, sandy beaches. Drive the same distance south and you can visit the castle at St Michaels Mount, where kids will love taking part in the Treasure Quest or rockpooling on the island foreshore.

Map
Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
