A lovely cosy cottage on a dairy farm, with a great local pub nearby and beautiful coastal walks. The indoor play barn was perfect for giving the kids somewhere to play with lots of equipment in it too.

A renovation of bathrooms would be nice. Unfortunately there is a lot of black and mold everywhere. And the windows should be see-through and not just wiped with a wet cloth and left to dry. They were smeary and yacky. The bathroom towels should not have stains on them if possible. Looked like stains from previous visitors. That is not so nice. A great holiday, wonderful playbarn so no moans from the kids in rainy weather! Good for nature lovers, beautiful unspoilt countryside, with hidden valleys and ancient woodlands to explore walking from the cottage. Lots of sparrows on the organic farm, hares, kestrels and buzzards among others.

We had a lovely time, the children especially loved it, the play barn and being able to see the cows being milked was a huge bonus. Cottage is comfortable, with lashing of hot water and heating is very good. A typical old fashioned farmhouse. No frills, but good value for half-term weekend. Wifi and phone signal isn't great, you couldn't watch a TVRead more programme or film but it was enough to send messages and read emails and a good detox for us all. Lovely walks nearby. Hide
