A very cosy and private cottage and a great place to chill out. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was easy to use and a good temperature. Plenty of hot water once I figured out the tap. Overall we had an enjoyable week except for the extortionate parking charges at Polperro which cannot be avoided. If you're fit and prepared to walk dowRead moren you'll find a quaint village with some good restaurants. Looe is nearby and more reasonable parking, no hills and nice shops and restaurants. Hide

What a lovely location & place to stay. On the whole the cottage was very comfortable, the bed was super comfy. We found the owners very helpful & on the end of the phone to answer any questions we had. Beautiful location above Polperro with magnificent views which can be enjoyed from the property's balcony. Very friendly owners. Facilities are good but the under-the-counter frig' might be a little small for a week's catering. The downstairs boiler room with washing machine is a useful area for drying wet clothes and boots.

The cottage is lovely. If you like peace, quiet and beautiful views then this is the place for you. There were some issues with cleanliness which we addressed with the owner so hopefully this will improve. The walk to and from Polperro is lovely, through typical Cornish narrow roads, but do be mindful that the roads can be very, very steep. North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
