This delightful property nestles in an idyllic courtyard location in the grounds of the owners' home, has been lovingly furnished in a contemporary country style, and is perfectly placed just two miles from the coast.

This charming single-storey cottage provides the perfect base for exploring the Atlantic coast and all the treasures that North Cornwall has to offer, including the historic medieval village of Tintagel. And once you’ve finished taking in the sights, returning home to a warming wood burner and a comfortable bed has never felt so good.

Thanks to the convenient open-plan layout of this chocolate-box cottage, everything you need is at your fingertips. Sit back on the sofas in the living area, put your feet up in front of the wood burner and pop the TV/DVD on for maximum relaxation. When the evening draws to a close, the cosy king-size bed will guarantee you a good night’s sleep. There is also a handy bathroom with a bath and WC. At the front of the property, a small patio area with a bench is tucked away, and guests can make use of a shared 5-acre paddock.

Undeniably the most exciting feature of the accommodation is its proximity to the famous Tintagel (3 miles), set atop the high cliffs of North Cornwall, and offering breathtaking scenery, intriguing Arthurian legends, and a new 60-metre footbridge connecting the mainland to the island on which the spectacular Tintagel Castle can be found. There’s even a Merlin’s Cave back down on sea level. Other worthwhile destinations include the golden sands and natural caves of Trebarwith Strand beach, just 2.5 miles away, and of course the plethora of traditional Cornish fishing ports, such as Boscastle (5.5 miles) and Port Isaac (9 miles) – where TV’s Doc Martin was filmed!

We stayed at the Daisy cottage (excellent). Located just outside of Tintagel and is the perfect place to set up your Cornwall expeditions. If you are a bodyboarder, surfer or watersports person then there is a great little spot at Trebarwith Strand just 2 miles from your front door. We are hikers and this was a great place to spend a couple of hourRead mores walking the SW Coastal path. Bude is an excellent day out, leave early for car parking, massive beach! Penzance/Lands end, Eden in scope too. Hide

Great location, great facilities, very clean, lovely decor and geared towards dogs, we had a lovely stay. There was a lovely little hamper for us on arrival, including a cream tea for us and dog treats for Billy. It was quiet and peaceful with a large garden area and a field for dog walking.

Gorgeous cottage with a fantastic field at the back for exercising your dogs. Hosts were lovely and recommended some brilliant nearby restaurants and beaches. The welcome pack we received prior to arriving was really useful and answered all of our questions. Was like a home away from home, but with better weather

Lovely cottages in beautiful countryside. Our cottage was warm, well equipped and cosy, away from the hustle and bustle. If you want a place to relax, this is ideal.

We loved our cottage and the setting. It was perfect for us and our puppy. The field at the back was excellent for letting our dog run around and I was able to do a couple of runs in the morning and evenings with our puppy. There was plenty of space for parking. The staffs we met at the beginning and end of our were friendly.

Gareth and Sandy could not have been more welcoming. Cottage was very clean. The meadow behind was brilliant for walking the dogs. Lovely rural area, a really lovely environment for a weeks holiday! 1/2 mile from the Tintagel brewery, whats not to like?
