The popular beach village of Gorran Haven on has two sandy beaches within a 1-mile walk, and you're well placed for exploring the attractions of the delightful South Cornish coast.

The property is attached to the main house in a quiet private road. Above the prettily-planted enclosed front garden, the distinctive glass-fronted balcony offers views over this leafy neighbourhood. Inside, homely carpeted comfort with natural wood furniture, a gentle colour palette and large windows complete the simple summery feel. The bright natural pine kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a feast in the evening, then head up to dine in the leather-furnished lounge/dining room.

The village beach is partly sheltered by a seawall, and a mile to the south around the point there's the wilder Vault Beach stretching to fabled Dodman Point - there's a car park and 500m walk to the beach. The South West Coast Path runs through the village, with exhilarating clifftop sections and sandy coves to discover. For day trips by car, the Eden Project is 15 miles away, or visit the fishing harbour of Mevagissey within 4 miles. There you can go sea angling or take a boat trip on the Fowey ferry across St Austell Bay.

Lovely property in a great location. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Lots of space. Apart from the internet issue it was brilliant. Location was terrific.

This year is the 4th time myself, my husband and 8yr old grandson have stayed here. Its ideal for us with a balcony and everything you need. Cherry and Tony are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the best cottage we have stayed in for a long while, the owners were very nice, wine and milk in the fridge on arrival, a nice touch. we stay in cottages at least twice a year and has yet to find a better one.
