The two-bedroom studio-style apartment offers an intimate feel that welcomes you instantly into its bright and contemporary kitchen/diner, with everything you could need for your stay. The high apex ceilings of the lounge/sleeping area on the first floor open up the room, making it a delightful place to spend the evenings in. The central location of this property means that you can enjoy some of the best parts of Cornwall without spending hours in the car. The National Lobster Hatchery is just 27 miles north, and Newquay Zoo is an equal distance away to the east. First class accommodation, friendly, helpful and un-obtrusive hosts. A quiet location with beautiful views and a lovely hot tub to enjoy. One of the best places I have stayed in. Loved the huge television!

We have had the best holiday. Well placed for local walks, great base to explore Cornwall. Local pub only a short walk away, really nice food. Property is gorgeous, we were very comfortable staying here. So peaceful, feel recharged and refreshed after a busy year in the NHS. The cottage was absolutely fantastic. Great location, really nice and comfortable inside with everything you need and more and hot tubs a bonus. Nice and private and owners are about if you need them but dont interfere at all. All in all a great place to stay and cant rate it highly enough. Will definitely be booking again!!

Had a great stay, chilled out long walks with our cocker spaniel who was like a child on speed he was so excited. Nice hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Owners were laid back and left us to enjoy the surroundings but available if we had any questions or information.

A warm and very comfortable cottage in a beautiful country side setting. The cottage was well laid out and the kitchen was fully equipped. It was lovely to be in the country side with all the farm animals. The cottage is extremely private and peaceful, perfect for unwinding and relaxing. I have been off sick from work, due to stress. This break was exactly what i needed. The house is not overlooked, just stunning views of the countryside. We visited lots of beautiful villages and used the hot tub every day, to relax after our adventures. Coming back. Soon!!

What a gem! If remote(ish) and tranquility are your top priorities, then look no further than Dormouse. Far enough way but only a 10 - 15 min stroll along a beautiful footpath that leads exactly to The Crown Pub if you dont fancy cooking that night or just a relaxing drink in the wonderful beer garden. Me and my new wife booked our honeymoon here for a week. We were very impressed with how clean and tidy it was. Despite not having great weather we still made full use of the hottub. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Very lovely little cottage, lovely welcoming presents and even tea bags and milk so you dont have to worry about getting it. The welcoming committee of the dog was a bonus. Fairly easy to get to the main road from the cottage as long as you go the right way. Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dormouse. It is such a beautiful and peaceful location. The accommodation was very clean and the owner was lovely. The added touch of the hot tub and being able to look up at the stars was brilliant. I would highly recommend this property and definitely go back.
