Fig Tree Cottage was perfect in every way. Karen and Mark were brilliant hosts even providing a welcome pack on arrival. The location was very peaceful, the only sounds we could hear were the animals in the fields from the hot tub which we sat in every day. Would recommend Fig Tree Cottage without hesitation.

We had a wonderful week at Fig Tree. Karen greeted us and instructed how to use the hot tub and other information on arrival, and was quick to get back to us with answers to questions. The views of the farmland are delightful and the animals were all very friendly, especially the turkey who walked over as we sat in the hot tub!

Impeccably clean and cosy, Fig Tree Cottage is the perfect countryside retreat. Owner Karen is so welcoming and helpful, we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the cottage. The hot tub is beautifully situated in a quiet corner of a lovely garden, and the log burner makes for a perfect cosy retreat.

Fig Tree is a delightful, modern, clean, bijou cottage for two. Set in picturesque rural scene, south west facing. If in the area we'd certainly stay there again. We didn't get to use the little solid fuel stove for cold weather warmth but it looks like that would make it cosy in even the grimest weather.

Map
Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
