With unbeatable views across Fistral’s vast sandy beach and the sea beyond, this modern apartment is the perfect bolthole for a fun-filled break by the sea.

Located on a private road overlooking the vast buttery sands of Fistral beach, this contemporary ground floor apartment makes the perfect escape during any season. With breathtaking sea views, Fistral Rises's homely seaside style gives you an opportunity to kick back and recharge your batteries, with your loved ones and the gentle lapping of waves for company.

Its unsurpassed views of the ocean are not the only reason to retreat here. The light and airy interior reflects the sea at every turn; from blues and whites, bleached wood and nautical touches dotted about the house, to the sheltered patio area outside. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco or take a seat at the beautiful glass dining table, where you can watch the white horses in the surf while you enjoy a home-cooked meal.

Head down to the beach to hit the waves, or spread yourself out on the sand if that sounds like too much hard work. When dusk draws you off the beach, wander up to Rick Stein's fish and chip restaurant for a bite. If you're after a hike, take the South West Coast Path for wildlife, geology and sublime scenery, or stay closer to home in Newquay, a 2-mile walk from the apartment. The foodie destination of Padstow is 15 miles away, where you'll find incredible seafood restaurants in the bustling harbour.

We had a fab holiday at this superb, well equipped apt with stunning views just minutes from the beach. Joan and Lee were very welcoming hosts and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. Just to point out that the garden isn't enclosed so if you are bringing a pooch who isn't great at recall or runs off like ours you might want to take that inRead moreto consideration. It didnt spoil it for us at all though as the dog was too tired to run off after a day on the beach anyway! Will def visit again Hide

We have been here for the last 5 years and hope to go again in 2021 if possible. Lovely flat with everything you need, easy walking to town, the beaches and the headlands. Hosts are great and do everything they can to make it work. This year things were strange due to Covid and how Newquay is dealing with it all, but we had a great break.

Map
Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
