This beautiful property is perfectly positioned for touring both Devon and Cornwall. Guests are well placed to walk to many local attractions such as Cotehele House and Gardens, or through Cotehele Woods to Calstock. Nearby is the village of St Mellion, famous for its Jack Nicklaus golf course and luxurious spa facilities.  Plymouth is within easy reach, with its historic Barbican, National Marine Aquarium and thriving shopping centre. You are a short drive from the beautiful historic town of Tavistock and the popular seaside villages of Looe and Polperro, each with a range of restaurants, pubs and shops. Other local attractions include several impressive National Trust properties, the Eden Project, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, the Tamar Valley Donkey Park and much more.  

On entering this lovely property you will find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. The comfortable lounge is an ideal spot for relaxing in, complete with TV/DVD and music system. There is also a dining table to seat 4 within the kitchen area. The attractive kitchen contains everything you may need during your stay including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment. Exploring the cottage further, you will find a beautiful and bright conservatory with plenty of seating and charming views out over the garden. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor, with large double whirlpool bath and separate shower with WC. Heading upstairs, you will find a spacious and comfy super-king-size bedroom with wash basin and a seating area with beautiful views over the garden. There is ample room for two extra Z beds or up to two cots (which are available on request).

Stepping outside you can unwind in the pretty garden, which includes a delightful fountain, along with a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ.

The cottage is ideally located to explore Cornwall. Chris and Angela were very welcoming and throughout our stay made little touches that made it very special. The huge bath was a massive plus that allowed both of us to unwind and relax during our stay.

Chris and Angels made us feel so welcome and at home. Everything perfect for a quiet week away. Loved the comfy bed, spacious bathroom and a sofa for each of us in the conservatory! Thank you for the wine, cream tea and dry towels. Hope to make a return trip to fully appreciate beautiful gardens and outside space!

Cottage and amenities were amazing. Hosts were fantastic, the cream tea left for us during the week was a welcome treat. Highly recommend. Very unfortunate that the local pub decided to stop doing meals though.

This property was absolutely gorgeous. It had everything you needed and was so comfortable. The owners were lovely and welcoming. A lovely bottle of wine was left on our arrival and on the Wednesday we came back to cream tea. Couldn't have asked for a better property. Would definitely go back.

Lovely cottage, roads to get there take a bit of getting used to. Great escape, not much in the local area but still local enough to stores for shopping. Beautiful cottage with beautiful surroundings, Chris and Angela the oweners who was very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. We had a beautiful cream tea delivered mid week, which was very much appreciated. This was Our first time visiting Cornwall but we would definitely like to return.

We had a brilliant stay at the cottage,the owners were lovely and so we're the surprise scones jam and cream, visited lot's in the area but spent last couple of days in beautiful garden enjoying the weather,hope to return again.

Lovely accommodation only 5 minutes from main road and 2 petrol stations and a co op shop at one .Chris and Angela have thought of everything you could need from self catering to eating out every night as we did . They have takeaway menus for all the takeaways in callington 10 minutes away . The carpenters arms pub is a 2 minute walk and does lovelRead morey homemade pub food at good prices , Chris and Angela can't do enough for you . My new husband and I loved it. Comfy, beautiful, has everything you could need! Loved the big double jacuzzi bath and big bed and the view of the garden. The owners were amazing, gifted us a newly weds card and present along with some amazing scones with jam. 100% would go back! Missing it already.
