The location of the cottage is perfect. Less than 5 minutes flat walk to the beach, pub & eateries of Mawgan Porth. The accommodation was clean, well presented & equipped for 2 adults, a 15 year old daughter & a 16 year old daughter. Heated swimming pool gave a pleasant change from the beach.

This was a bright, clean and comfortable property. We were a family of four and there was plenty of hot water after a day walking, swimming or visiting the beach The kitchen was good, if needed, to cook any supplies from the local shop - which was also great. A good location to travel around Cornwall or simply watch the sunset on the beach.

Thank you Fiona and Kev, we had a wonderful stay. Great area/apartment for families, car would be good, but there is a good bus service, though timetable changes mid-Sept. Shops and bus two mins flat walk. Very clean and comfortable, crisp white sheets sold it for us, very well equipped. Would recommend to others and go back again.

Map
Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
