Set just back from the seafront with stunning views over Towan Beach, this top-floor apartment has everything you need for a romantic getaway to North Cornwall. Whether you’re gazing at the views from one of the balconies or you’re winding down in front of the TV in the open-plan living area, you’ll settle into your own way of life here. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a handsome meal for you both; choose from the bright and airy living area or feast out on the balcony. After a day out walking or at the beach, take a refreshing shower in the huge double shower before snuggling into the king-size bed for a great night’s sleep.

Tee off at Holywell Bay Golf (6 miles) on one of the 18-hole courses or try your hand at the mini golf. If you’d rather just take a stroll along the beach, Fistral, Lusty Glaze (both 1 mile) and Porth (2 miles) are all good options. For longer walks Carnewas at Bedruthan Steps (7 miles) is an ideal place to start along the South West Coast Path to visit the Iron Age fort of Redcliff Castle and spot birds such as shags, fulmars and razorbills nesting on the cliffs. Take a tour around Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm (9 miles) and sample the wares and even have a spot of lunch.

This is a lovely modern cosy apartment set a few streets back from the front. The owner supplies a pair of binoculars which are great to view the sea. There was a tide times booklet, magazines on the area a poster on how to surf.

Absolutely amazing! I spent 3 days at Gwelvor for New Years Eve 2021/2022. The apartment was very neat and tidy, not too small and not too big. Perfect for a couple or single looking to get away. I will be returning here for sure!

Map
Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
