This tastefully designed property welcomes visitors with breath-taking views of Fistral Beach at the southern end of Newquay. A ten minute walk away is the town centre with its pubs, restaurants and interesting shops. If you can drag yourself away from playing on the beach at Fistral, why not drive the scenic coastal road for a great meal at Watergate Bay. You could take an amble along the South West Coast Path to discover Crantock Bay, Perranporth, St Agnes and beyond quite easily.  Other large attractions in the local area are Newquay Zoo, Newquay Aquarium, a short cycle along the Camel River from Padstow, Bedruthan Steps or even Tintagel Castle.

On entering the property you are welcomed onto the ground floor, home to a hallway with a well-equipped, spacious utility room that comes complete with a large fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, sink, storage space and a cupboard for coats and outdoor wear. Also on this floor is the king-size bedroom with a TV and DVD. Nearby is a shower room with double power shower and WC. Up the stairs, the first floor is a fine example of open living with a dual aspect spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge comes equipped with a gas fire, TV, DVD, hi-fi, two sofas and French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony. There is also a dining table and chairs to enjoy your meal at. The roomy kitchen is at the rear of the first floor and offers a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge with an ice compartment. Outside the kitchen there is the main entrance from the garden path.  Up another flight of stairs and the final floor hosts a second king-size bedroom with a TV and a spectacular view overlooking Fistral beach and Newquay Golf course. Also on this floor is another bedroom with twin beds, a TV and DVD. The bathroom is found close by with a shower over the bath and a WC and sink.

From the lounge/kitchen/diner a Juliet balcony welcomes unspoilt ocean views. To the rear of the property is a spacious south-facing enclosed garden with seating and BBQ to enjoy an outdoor feast plus a lockable storage cupboard for surfboards and beach equipment. Enjoy sunsets to the west and see if you can hear the waves crashing against the nearby shore.

2nd visit for 2 weeks and will be back later this year. Great location, free parking, good storage space. Great views (slightly marred by blown glass panels). Very well equipped compared to other Cornish holiday lets. Has a tumble dryer which you need in the cold/wet/muddy months. Decent wi-fi. House had no heating or hot water when arrived but HouRead moresekeeper promptly had fixed as soon as notified. Not as pretty inside as some places but the good far outweighs the bad for us. Hide

Amazing location and lovely dog friendly house. Back garden fully secure for dog or child. Highlight of the house are obviously the views and loved the Juliet balcony, with the doors wide open listening to the waves. Perfect house for chilling and enjoying the surfing vibe!

Excellent all round. Clean, tidy, easily big enough for 5 of us and a dog. Nice short walk to the beach. Stunning views from the living room window. It's the second time we stayed here, so I'm sure that says more than anything I could write... we're probably going to book for next summer too!

Absolutely brilliant location. Across the road you can either quickly walk to town or the beach. Behind the property is a short walk to the river beach. The property is well furnished and very comfortable. It sleeps six and we took a dog.
