Enjoying spectacular views over Fistral beach this stylish and well appointed elegant regency-style terraced house is situated on the Pentire Headland in a private security-gated development.

Just across the road from Newquay's famous Fistral Beach, you will discover a small crescent of elegant residences, one of which is Headland House. Cosy and comfortable, this property cannot be beaten for views across the awe-inspiring surfer's beach and the rugged Headland Point. Sit back by the Juliet balcony and watch the beach action unfold or grab a towel and become part of the scene.

The interior of the house offers a warm welcome to Cornwall. Get lost in sparkling sea views from the comfort of roomy sofas in the open plan living and dining room, where you can curl up in front of the TV on colder evenings. Stylish bedrooms offer ocean and garden vistas, with a calming palette and scattered colourful touches. The garden is a cosy space to dine alfresco: just fire up the BBQ, sit back, and listen to the sounds of the Atlantic in the distance.

Beach lovers are only a half-mile from Fistral Beach, but with so many spectacular beaches in the area, you'll be spoilt for choice. Head west along the South West Coast Path to Crantock Bay, Perranporth and St Agnes (although at 11 miles away, you may prefer to drive to the latter). Drive 17 miles to the fishing port of Padstow, where culinary bliss awaits. The National Trust's Bedruthan Steps are only 6 miles from your doorstep, or make a day trip to the intriguing Tintagel Castle, 30 miles away.

We have stayed at this cottage 3 or 4 times over the past 10 years. We love the property location, the beds are comfortable and the enclosed garden is perfect for our dog.

We have stayed at Headland House for several years. It is a lovely house with fabulous views overlooking Fistral Beach. The location is amazing. It has easy access to the beach and walking distance of central Newquay, whilst being in the quieter part of Newquay. It is close to Pentire and Crantock Beach too. We love the house.

This really is a great house in a great location. As other reviews have said, the decor is a little tired but thats nothing really. The facilities and the equipment were ample. Headland House is a fabulous town house in a fantastic location overlooking Fistral Beach. I never tired of looking at the sea from the living room window. It has always been quiet when we stayed there. We loved the proximity to the beach, the town and walks and the fact that it is dog friendly.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
