A lovely traditional detached cottage in a pleasant hamlet with easy access to many attractions and ideal for exploring the delights of northern Cornwall
A bright, welcoming home close to Cornwall's north coast, the ideal place to return to after a day of adventures and exploring. Guests return here time after time because of its humble charm and convenient location. Spend a warm afternoon in the large back garden, or a chilly evening curled up next to the traditional wood burner.
Feel right at home at Helstone Sunnyside. Pick up a book from the shelf and fall into an armchair in front of the wood burner. Exposed beams, homely decor and comfortable furnishings fill every room. Pretty pictures decorate the walls, and soft colours and textiles help you to relax into your surroundings.
Meander through the nearby fishing villages of Port Isaac, Boscastle, Rock, Padstow and Tintagel, all within 17 miles of Helstone Sunnyside. Pop in and out of cafes, become an expert in their history and embrace the relaxed Cornish pace. This cottage is just 9 miles from the Camel Trail at Wadebridge, a lovely route to stretch your legs or put your feet on the pedals and start cycling. The nearby coastline is looked after by the National Trust and offers spectacular walking routes past ancient houses and exotic gardens. If you travel further west, you will find many more gems of the north coast, including Newquay and St Agnes.
