We had a lovely 5 night break at Hillside after Christmas.. The cottage was extremely comfortable, warm and welcoming (lovely to come into a really warm house after a cold and rainy day out!). Perfectly spacious enough for a joint family trip (4 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 2) - the bedroom arrangements were perfect. Communication with the owneRead morers was excellent and we had some lovely days out in the area. Very well located for beaches and main attractions. Would definitely return. Hide

A lovely cottage in a great location. Go and visit local coves, Porthluney is excellent. The walk to Gorran Haven is fabulous and not too strenuous on the return. The cottage can get a little chilly, take a blanket for chilly evenings.

The cottage was lovely, clean enough, in a really nice location, in fact there was only a couple of things that we had a niggle with: the heating, we did discuss this with the owner and they said not a problem in upping the temperature, but it didn't always cut in in the morning, and it was a bit chilly, so we had to boost it on about 4 mornings, iRead moret did this in the afternoons too the dishwasher is a bit iffy, we put it on in the morning and it was still going at tea time - else it was great Hide

A beautiful large residence set in an attractive village with the sea close by. The village has a post office / shop which is very well stocked. There is also a pub/ restaurant of a very high standard just a walk up the hill. The property houses 7 people which means there is a possibility of two cars needing to park off road . The road is quite busRead morey outside the front of the property so it is best to get your cars off road. This is achieved by a bit of careful parking. Hide

Lovely place and wonderful local beaches. Perfect local shop and coffee mornings at the village hall. Very welcoming village. Seek out much more affordable local pubs, there's plenty around.
