Traditional and charming, this cottage has retained its original features while being modified to offer guests a genuinely enchanting hideaway. Reconnect with your loved one by the electric fire and soak up the romantic ambience of this quaint and welcoming home.

The beauty of this home lies in the details, from the carefully selected furniture to the well-preserved original features such as the exposed beams and stonework. In the colder months settle into the living room, curling up on the sofa under a blanket or two, and watch either the TV or the sky through the ceiling windows. On a balmy summer evening make the most of the delightful, private courtyard, and sit outside with a glass of something cold and refreshing in hand.

The ancient town of Camelford is less than a 2-mile drive away and is the perfect place to stock up on all the essentials as well as a few local delicacies. Just off the A39, Home Park Cottage is ideally positioned for hitting the road and ticking off as many of Cornwall's attractions as you can. From the myths and legends of Tintagel (7.5 miles) to the picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle (7.8 miles) and Port Isaac (7.1 miles) the north coast is bursting with stories and quirky gems. Take on the coast on foot and embark on The South West Coast Path to access some of the most spectacular seaside views imaginable. Thrill seekers should head west to England's surf capital, Newquay (24.8 miles) and try their hand at one of the many water sports available.

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
