One of six cottages surrounded by captivating landscapes, offering the perfect retreat for couples or small families.

Tucked away in a complex of six snug cottages near the North Cornish coast, The Parlour is a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life, perfect for couples and small families. As homely on the inside as the quaint stone facade and slate roof suggests, you can squirrel yourselves away within Kehelland Farm's 30 acres, whilst still being within 15 miles of fifteen beautiful beaches, the cultural hub of St Ives, and the cathedral city of Truro.

Start your day with fresh coffee in the sunny shared courtyard, before meeting the resident farm animals on a wander around the grounds. The Parlour's cosy and inviting decor is a welcome sight at the end of a day's adventure, with neutral tones and warm flourishes of colour. You can relax in the open-plan layout and reconnect: as one of you rustles up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen, others can settle on the sofa with a glass of wine while you chat. If it's an evening out that you're looking forward to, a babysitting service can be arranged.

No matter the time of year, a stomp along the South West Coast Path promises fresh air and glorious views. It can be accessed from nearby Godrevy Beach which is only 4 miles away and boasts 3 miles of golden sand ripe for sunbathing and sand-castle building, or you can dive in and try your hand at surfing. Retail therapy awaits in Truro, followed by a visit to the three-spired cathedral that soars above surrounding rooftops.

Excellent accommodation fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Only fault being that there is no pub or restaurant within walking distance.

My husband and I really enjoyed our week at The Parlour. It is very well-appointed, with everything we needed. There were even fresh flowers on the table to greet us when we arrived.

Great cottage with fabulous host. Close to all great attraction in Cornwall.

We had a great holiday, the cottage was really well equipped and cosy. My son loved looking at the animals on the farm. Everything we needed was a short drive away and there are loads of things to do, including some glorious beaches within a 5 minute drive.

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
