A superb three-bed detached property in a four-cottage complex, surrounded by 50 acres of woodland and countryside, with a hot tub on the patio outside to sit in and enjoy the view.

With a private hot tub and enviable views of the Cornish countryside, you'll be hard pressed to find a more relaxing retreat. The farmhouse, one of four on the complex, is set within 50 acres of land, making it the perfect spot for a family break, with more than enough space to entertain. On the doorstep you have the best of Devon and Cornwall waiting to be explored, including the rugged coastline just a few miles away.

Whether you're taking in the rolling hills from the windows or relaxing in one of the two pleasant lounges, there's no denying you're in the heart of the county here. Exposed beams are dotted throughout, and in the kitchen you'll find a Rayburn, which when fired up, turns the whole house into a cosy haven. During the day though, the aesthetic is light and airy, with ample space for the whole family to enjoy.

Relax on the golden beaches of Bude just 4 miles away or explore the seaside town's secluded coves. If it's a more active holiday you're after though, head to the Tamar or Roadford Lakes, 9 and 20 miles respectively, which both offer an array of watersports to get the adrenalin pumping. Unsurprisingly, there are ample coastal walks in the area for you to pick and choose from, all offering breathtaking views, while for a day trip the famous Eden Project is a must-visit (39 miles).

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
