This charming studio-style cottage offers quaint and cosy accommodation in an idyllic rural location on a farm.

Wake up to the sound of farm animals welcoming the day at Laura's Cottage, a quintessential Cornish farm cottage. This charming studio-style cottage is set on a traditional farm, and the idyllic rural location oozes peace and serenity. Whether you choose to make the most of the grounds and garden or explore the Cornish coast, your batteries will well and truly be recharged after a relaxing stay here.

There's nothing quite like the Cornwall countryside and its picturesque pastures, and the decor of the cottage mirrors this. Wood panels and slate tiles give a charming rustic feel to the interior, while flashes of red and grey give the cottage a modern touch. Outside, you can enjoy a BBQ alfresco on the cosy patio before sundowners in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly, making it the perfect romantic hideaway.

You'll be within 10 miles of Cornwall's main roads, the A30 and the A39, meaning you're perfectly positioned for exploring the whole of the county. Take time to discover sheltered coves, leave footprints on golden sandy beaches, stroll along the cobbles of the quaint fishing villages which gush with Cornish charm, or visit one of the many fantastic nearby attractions, including Tintagel (15 miles away), linked with the legends of King Arthur and Merlin. There's also a plethora of coastal walks on your doorstep, including the wonderfully scenic South West Coast Path.

Very friendly hosts. Small but comfortable and cosy cottage in a very rural area. Hot tub was a bonus.

Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
