Just three miles to the north-west of the property, the spectacular sandy beaches of St Ives Bay stretch for over three miles from Hayle to Godrevy, ensuring that there is always a quiet spot for sunbathing, paddling, swimming, surfing, or even sand yachting.

Pulling into the long, private driveway, guests will immediately feel themselves relax as the bustling noise of everyday life melts away and is replaced with the peaceful tranquillity of farm life. The single-storey barn conversion boasts plenty of space to relax, both in the open-plan living space and outside on the private patio and in the shared garden, where children can safely play to their heart's content on the slide, swings, and climbing tower.

We arrived to a very clean and welcoming looking property sat in a tranquil spot. This property is one of the best weve stayed at. The owners clearly go out of their way to take care of it and it shows. It was extremely well equipped (unlike a lot of properties weve stayed at) and more like someones home than a holiday rental. It provided a great bRead morease for travelling around Cornwall on day trips and Hayle itself has a lovely beach worth visiting. Hide

Little Riviere is a beautiful cottage and we had a lovely welcome of scones, clotted cream and jam waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage has all the amenities you could need (washer/dryer/dishwasher/internet, etc), it's nicely decorated and very clean. There is a nice play area for children and lots of space for them to run around in. It's a Read moreshort drive to Lidl or Asda for any essentials. Not far from Carbis Bay (which we'd recommend visiting) and easy enough to get to St Ives etc. Hide

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
