One of three beautifully converted stone barns, the perfect choice for a family get together. Close to many attractions, with something for all the family.

In a bright open setting, this large converted barn is one of three in a small complex of properties, making the most of sunshine and outdoor living with conservatory and garden spaces ideal for family socialising. Choose between beach days, walks along the South West Coast Path and visits to local attractions or charming coastal towns and villages. Or if varied family activities are what you're looking for, you'll find plenty of options nearby.

The single-level, weathered stone cottage is comfortably furnished and lovingly decorated with vintage touches and subtle colours. Colourful coastal art scatters the walls. The spacious natural wood kitchen/dining area with substantial exposed timber beams, family table and warm tiled flooring has a welcoming, homely feel. The bright living room links through the conservatory to the well-kept garden where you can fire up the BBQ for a delicious al fresco meal.

Your nearest sandy beach is 3 miles away at Port Isaac, home to TV's Doc Martin. The Cornish food revolution is well underway here and there is a great choice of restaurants both here and in Padstow, 15 miles away. Polzeath beach is under 8 miles away for surf lessons and many water activities. Tintagel wreathed in Arthurian myth is only 11 miles on a road skirting the beautiful Pentire Point Coast area; the Eden Project is 20 miles away. On wild Bodmin Moor, Cornwall's highest peaks, Roughtor and Brown Willy, 13 miles from your door. Locally, St Endellion has a farm shop and daytime restaurant.

We really appreciated the style of how Long Cottage is furnished - & all very comfortable. Truly in the countryside. A good Farmshop About a mile away.. sadly not possible to have walks from the cottage so a car indispensable.

We have stayed here three times and it is the most lovely place to be. It suits us just perfectly! This time, together with Corner Cottage, all ten of us were accommodated in order to celebrate our Golden Wedding. I feel sure we shall be back!

Long Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. From the warm welcome of the cream tea and flowers on arrival (and a teddy for our little one) to the spacious, spotless and beautifully furnished rooms. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen, fab array of childrens toys, books/dvd, even a special blanketRead more for our dogs. Location is also wonderful, with rolling hills and views of the sea from the garden. All in all a fabulous stay we couldnt fault Hide

Fabulous location, beautifully clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Owners have considered everything. Toys for children a bit hit! Drying room , although not used by us this trip, would be so useful when surfing etc. Just loved the welcome cream tea and flowers. Lovely views, peaceful. We all loved it. Thank you

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
