Link-detached cottage with enclosed gardens and shared heated indoor swimming pool and hot tub available all year round. Situated on the edge of Liskeard and close to the popular coastal villages of both Looe and Polperro.

Dive into your holiday in more ways than one! Off a quiet lane just over 1 mile from the centre of bustling Liskeard town, this fabulous property has a heated pool and hot tub (shared with just one other cottage property) available all year round. A lovingly-converted stone barn, it's handy for visiting popular seaside villages and inspiring coastal walking routes on the South Cornish coast, and on Bodmin Moor to the north there is more rugged walking country plus outdoor activities including water sports and fishing.

The barn is attached to the owners' property and has an enclosed garden for sunny lunches or balmy summer evenings. You'll love the beautiful texture of the stone buildings, and inside, original features like stone-flagged flooring and exposed beams throughout. Overall, there's cheerful comfort with homely touches. The ‘wow factor' comes from the pool and hot tub, just yards away. When you've swum enough and soothed tired limbs in the hot tub, relax by the wood burner in the cosy lounge. Due to the current situation the swimming pool will only be available on a bookable time slot basis. We regret that for safety reasons the hot tub may not be available. Please contact our office for further details.

The seaside town of Looe is just 8 miles to the south. There's a sandy beach, and in town, why not wander past fishing boats at the quay, try jigging for crabs, or stock up on local produce from the deli. For a nearby day trip, an 18-mile drive past sweeping Whitsand Bay to Kingsand and Cawsand, picturesque twin villages on Rame peninsular, is a must. The South West Coast Path or Bodmin Moor have excellent walks within 6 miles.

  • 2 bedrooms - 1 king-size and 1 twin
  • 1 bathroom
  • Electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine
  • Access to heated indoor pool and hot tub (shared with 1 other property)
  • Wood burner (first basket of logs included)
  • Electric and central heating included
  • Bed linen and towels included
  • Off-road parking for 2 cars
  • Super-fast fibre broadband included
  • Regret no pets
  • Beach 6 miles, shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile
  • Complex of properties
  • Smart TV in lounge and king-size bedroom
  • During the Covid-19 period the swimming pool and hot tub will be available on a rota basis

Super comfy bed and so quiet, we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing break. The cottage is in a fantastic location, we ditched the car for the weekend and went for the train - so easy to get around from Liskeard. The pool and hot tub were excellent for relaxing after a long day out walking, nice and warm especially in the winter! The welcome package AliRead more left for us was such a lovely unexpected treat - will definitely be returning for more brownies! Hide

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
