Newly refurbished with a stylish interior, this spacious character cottage has endless charm for families or couples as a base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer.

This beautiful property sleeps four guests and is set in the ancient fishing village of Polruan. Full of quintessential Cornish charm, you'll find plenty to explore both in Polruan and across the water in the popular town of Fowey. It's the perfect destination to slip into a slower pace of life and leave feeling fully re-energised.

A coastal theme runs throughout the property, as a constant reminder of the gorgeous waterside setting. The light and airy kitchen/diner is ideal for socialising and outside there's a sunny courtyard with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining.

There are many historic sites to explore on foot from the property, such as Polruan Blockhouse which dates back to 1380 and is just 0.5 miles away. From here, you can enjoy a romantic stroll along the Hall Walk to Bodinnick. The 4-mile circular route treats you to some stunning estuary views through Du Maurier country. The regular passenger ferry makes it easy to pop over to Fowey (it takes just over 10 minutes), where you can browse the local galleries and artisan shops and indulge in a tasty Cornish cream tea in one of the many independent cafes. At the town hall, during summer months, there's a fantastic museum and an aquarium where you can while away an afternoon.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A very well kept cottage...plenty big enough for 2 people but would be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults. Lovely cosy but surprisingly spacious cottage well finished and located only a few steps from the local amenities. Polruan is a nice place but with limited facilities especially eating options if you prefer to eat out and of course quite hilly so only suitable for those who are able to cope with this aspect.

Lovely location but on a steep hill which could be problematic if you have mobility issues. Cottage itself was immaculately clean, very cosy and we were welcomed with a lovely greeting pack. We would not hesitate to book again if looking for another stay in Polruan.

Wonderful cottage in a perfect location! Cottage was warm, spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Rear terrace paved and fully enclosed - perfect to let the dog out without worries of escape! Warm and cosy cottage with very comfortable beds. Prefect location in the heart of the village, a stone's throw from the village store and bakery, and close to lovely pub and the ferry to Fowey. Our dog loved it too! Highly recommended as a location and as a delightful property to stay in.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
