Spacious detached bungalow located on a quiet and award winning woodland park, with use of outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, playing field and children's play area

This spacious detached bungalow property stands in a quiet woodland park and has shared use of a swimming pool, tennis court, outdoor play area and a playing field for family sports. Ideal for families, it's your escape in East Cornwall with loads of fun to be had right outside your door, many beaches and attractions to visit, and just to the south the beautiful Rame Peninsular with its pretty villages and spectacular coastal walking.

The house has a bold design with a feature chimney stack in warm-tinted stucco. Tall trees are nearby but the aspect is sunny and you'll enjoy leisurely al fresco lunches on the secluded patio or on the lawn. Inside, a cheerful summery colour palette in paint and fabrics creates a very homely and welcoming feel. The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area has plenty of space to relax together and plan the next adventure. Bedrooms have a cooler, more coastal tone.

For two cute villages for the price of one, head to Kingsand and Cawsand, side by side 14 miles away on the Rame Peninsular. Sample a home-cooked pub lunch, and watch yachts come and go on the sheltered waters of Plymouth Sound. Afterwards, it's just a 1-mile walk from Cawsand village centre to spectacular clifftop views towards Penlee Point. Whitsand Bay has several beaches – Seaton within 9 miles has a cafe, pub and shops just across the road. Or if you fancy a day in the big city, Plymouth (10 miles away) has the fascinating National Marine Aquarium.

We stayed in Marmin cottage during the last week of August and really loved it! The cottage has everything you could want, a home away from home as many of the reviews have mentioned. There was a nice supply of basics too in the kitchen. The house was clean and cosy, and the beds super comfortable! It is in an ideal location for exploring the localRead more beaches.(I can recommend Freathy beach with its rocky walk down to the beach,) and easy access around Cornwall. Hide

Great location for some beautiful scenic beaches and harbours. Lovely and quiet and nice to have the shared swimming pool to use. It was a little cold and had restricted times to swim. The cottage could of been cleaner on arrival and often we didnt have enough hot water. Both could be easily rectified with more info and a better cleaner! It was a good base to travel out to different locations.

Lovely bungalow set in a lovely park, well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a great week stay. Very secure locations with a key operated barrier to gain entry to the site. Very nice pub just a few minutes walk with excellent food. Would definitely recommend, and hope to return next year

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
