Set in an idyllic location just 5 miles from the pretty fishing town of Looe, and within easy reach of Bodmin Moor, the Tamar Valley and a host of glorious sandy beaches, this lovely single-level property features its own hot tub and makes a fantastic base for guests looking to explore the area.

This light, welcoming and cosy holiday home offers a charming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, an ideal space to unwind at the end of a great day. The lounge features SkyTV, cosy seating and a wood burner. There’s also a fully-equipped kitchen and a delightful dining area, ideal for a romantic meal as well as a spacious and cosy double bedroom. Adjacent to the bedroom is a dressing room, complete with wardrobe, full-length mirror and hair dryer. There is also a shower room. Accessed via French doors, the enclosed rear garden features a patio area with furniture, charcoal BBQ and a private hot tub.

The southern coast of Cornwall is just 5 miles away, with plenty of traditional fishing villages and towns to explore. The nearest, Looe, offers plenty of attractions including fishing and speed boat trips, ice cream parlours, shops, restaurants and traditional inns, and a long sandy beach. Heading inland, you can visit Liskeard (3 miles), a traditional market town, and then explore Bodmin Moor (10 miles) with its many walking opportunities, views over the countryside and old mining houses. Other attractions include Lanhydrock (16 miles), Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary (4 miles) and Adrenalin Quarry (2½ miles).

Couldn't fault this place at all! Was so lovely and relaxing. It was such a cute cozy place and it was very nice sitting infront of the fire after relaxing in the hot tub! They were great hosts and very welcoming. We also arrived to a beautiful hamper!

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at Meadowside Barn. Felt so welcome by Andy and Zoe. Was lovely to have a Christmas tree up as made it feel extra special and christmasy! Received a beautiful welcome basket which also included treats and a toy for our dog so thoughtful! A lovely little cottage that has everything you need. Really relaxing the hot tub was a lovely addition and was great to relax in after exploring Cornwall. We were welcomed by a lovely couple on arrival and shown round the cottage. They also left a basket with wine, chocolates, dog treats, fresh eggs etc which was a nice touch. We had a great time here. As a couple and a dog it was the perfect location with various dog friendly beaches within a 10 minute drive. Hosts were great the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The bungalow was well decorated and obviously well looked after, including the garden and the hot tub. I would come back and stay here again.
