We recently enjoyed a short break at Middle Merrose and were thoroughly impressed. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, great for dogs (lovely garden and fields close by for walks) and very peaceful with really comfy beds! Easy to get to and in a good location for touring Cornwall. Farmer Dave greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcomeRead more. Nice to arrive to flowers, tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh eggs. Would definitely like to return again. Hide

2nd time we have stayed at this cottage, this time we were with our daughter and son in law and their 12 week old daughter we also had 2 dogs with us. There was plenty of room for us all and a large garden for the dogs. There was a lovely welcome pack and flowers as well. We all had a lovely holiday and would happily stay here again

Middle Merrose cottage was very homely & we had all the home comforts we needed, along with a big garden for my 3 dogs to roam around. It was nice to have flowers, tea, coffee etc and freshly laid eggs on arriving at the cottage after a long journey down from Bristol. We are returning to the cottage in September 2019 & looking to book for next JuneRead more too. Hide

This cottage felt like home, the garden was actually totally enclosed for our dog, unlike some we've stayed in. Would definitely stay again.

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
