This cottage and garden are perfect and in the perfect location for getting about - Portreath beach is five minutes in the car and Tehidy country park is a short walk away via the footpath. We are only sorry that it won't be available next year.

After having to transfer our booking until the same week this year due to the Corona virus at last we have been lucky enough to have our holiday the only blot on the landscape was the weather. However the cottage was so well equipped and cosy we were very comfortable and between the showers were able to take our dogs to the surrounding area. Had thRead moree weather been glorious we would have been able to sit in the garden but even so appreciated the peace and quiet in such a beautiful setting. Hide

Lovely owners who were really helpful. The cottage was everything wed hoped for over the Christmas period, quiet, cosy and relaxing. Stunning beaches close by and a footpath directly from the property leading to a country park. Dont forget to take nuts with you to the country park as the squirrels will eat them from your hand.

We have stayed in a number of places in Cornwall and this has to be one of the best locations. Close to big Tesco and with easy access to the A30 but not with lots of passing traffic so quiet. Local beaches are great. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are a good size. Would stay in the same place without hesitation.

2nd time we have stayed at this cottage, this time we were with our daughter and son in law and their 12 week old daughter we also had 2 dogs with us. There was plenty of room for us all and a large garden for the dogs. There was a lovely welcome pack and flowers as well. We all had a lovely holiday and would happily stay here again

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
