Picture-perfect views across shimmering lakes and luscious moorland await you at Moey Cottage Polhilsa Farm, a lovely barn conversion found in a tranquil, secluded location in the South Cornwall countryside. Inside this lovely property, one of four on the complex, you'll be welcomed by comfort and cosiness, with sofas waiting to be sunk into and a fantastically spacious dining area offering ideal recreational areas. Mirroring that of a quintessential country cottage, wooden staircases lead to cosy bedrooms, where feature walls made of stone hug the edge of the room, giving a classic edge. An array of games are available in the shared garden such as croquet, football, basketball, swing ball, balls, soft tennis, hula hoops and frisbees.

Be sure to make the most of the wonderful surrounding area, including some of the UK's most dramatic coastline, with secluded coves, fishing villages and sandy beaches all waiting to be explored. Head inland and enjoy the views and walking routes on Bodmin Moor (10 miles away), including Brown Willy, Cornwall's highest point, or hop over the border to Devon and take a trek over Dartmoor National Park's picturesque moorland (11 miles). The 18-mile Camel Trail walking and cycling route is also nearby, leading from Wenfordbridge all the way through Cornish countryside to beautiful Padstow, with its bustling quay and wide range of fine eateries.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
