The ideal coastal retreat for family gatherings and holidays with friends, this detached cottage sleeps up to six guests plus one dog. The village has a delightful pub, as well as village shops and a sandy dog-friendly beach, meaning you can enjoy a relaxing break without even having to set foot in your car. If you do fancy heading a little further, you're not far from picturesque Fowey, which is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as the Eden Project.

The period property is set on one level and has been tastefully decorated to make the most of its original features. In the cosy lounge, you can snuggle up on the comfy sofas and enjoy fabulous views across the village. The dining room is a great sociable space for the whole party to gather for breakfast and evening meals, and adjoining is a spacious kitchen and handy utility area. Outside is a large enclosed garden as well as a sun-trap patio with garden furniture and a BBQ.

The bustling port of Fowey is 4 miles away and captures the quintessential Cornish charm. It boasts a sheltered sandy beach at Readymoney Cove and makes a lovely day out. Charlestown, also 4 miles away, is a great unspoilt example of a late Georgian working port. The village harbours a fleet of tall ships and pottering around the cobbled lanes quickly transports you to a bygone era. The Eden Project is reachable on foot (2 miles from the centre of Par), via the lush Luxulyan Valley. Here you'll find the world's largest indoor rainforest, as well as a host of activities to keep everyone enthralled.

Very spacious cottage that met our needs. In a good location for visiting everywhere so while no sea view etc you don't have to walk /drive far for that. Very practical layout and plenty of parking.

Fantastic bungalow which is very spacious for a family, there is a full bathroom and a lovely shower room which is great. The added bonus of the BBQ for summer evenings is really useful. We thought the location was brilliant for exploring, its close to Looe, Polperro, St Austell, Eden and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Spacious off road parking. TherRead moree are a couple of lovely pubs within walking distance all. Over all Nevada Villa is a great base for a family holiday. Hide

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
