Alternatively, venture inland and discover the vibrant market town of Launceston, known as being the ancient capital of Cornwall, offering a range of shops and pubs, a castle and steam railway to enjoy. The inclusion of a door to the outside also means that you can dine alfresco with ease during warm weather or just enjoy a pre-dinner drink whilst soaking up the fresh countryside air. Completing the offering on this level is a handy ground floor WC. Ascending the cottage stairs past the fabulous tall stained-glass window, you will then find yourself on the cosy and characterful first floor. There are two pretty bedrooms both fitted and furnished in a boutique style, with the first including a double bed, vanity unity and walk-in wardrobe space, while the second has a single bed and carefully considered furniture enabling it to be used as a dressing room/workspace if needed both rooms benefit from Devon duvets and are well finished. What a great place for us to stay for the week and explore the local cornish countryside. The house was very cosy and quiet, situated in a rural hamlet. I met Victoria briefly who was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend this place if you 1. like piece and quiet 2. don't want to hear all the town rabble 3. enjoy the countryside.

Loved the cottage, so peaceful, and very impressed with everything supplied in the kitchen, we brought stuff that was already there for us, thank you. our dog loved being outside, but the one thing I would say is that dogs could get out very easily, Fraser didn't want to, but while playing in the far garden space with him a spaniel that was passingRead more came in to say hello! A beautiful, well equipped property, very private mature garden, everything was colour coordinated, there are just no negatives to apply about the property. We would have liked a pub to walk to and eat an evening meal but obviously we knew there wasn't one when we booked, no big deal we just ate out early afternoon instead. Lots of lovely places toRead more visit not too far away. We go in a lot of doggie cottages and this place is at the top of our list. Hide
