With a focus on the great outdoors, this wonderful cabin provides a modern, carbon neutral retreat with the added luxury of a wood-fired hot tub to enjoy sinking into after a day of exploring.

Situated in a calm woodland setting only shared with one other accompanying cabin, this retreat provides guests with that peace and tranquillity that is so hard to come by in day to day life. Take a stroll around the surrounding woodlands, or why not hop on the renowned South West Coast Path, accessible just 5 miles away? Guests also have easy access to stunning Cornish gems such as Widemouth Bay (5 miles) and Bude (7 miles) – the ideal places to catch a wave for those surfers amongst you. Visit the beautiful historic fishing villages of Boscastle or Tintagel which are both within 20 miles.

Upon entrance, this well-designed cabin will bring you directly into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge space has two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, providing an ideal spot to relax with the family after a day exploring the North Cornwall coast. The kitchen area has everything you need including a gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and built-in microwave, whilst the dining area provides more than enough seating for guests to dine together. Beside the dining space sits the entrance to the family shower room, containing a waterfall Jacuzzi shower with body jets and multi-function hand shower, and a WC. Completing this floor is the first of two bedrooms, which is a twin room. From here you can make your way up the stairway which will bring you to the snug area – a relaxing space which is perfect for winding down and perhaps reading a book. The snug also has a double sofa bed. Make your way out to the upstairs balcony where you can indulge in views over the expansive outdoors. Finally, completing the interior is the second bedroom which contains a double bed, once more with access to a balcony to enjoy the fresh air.

Sink into your private wood-fired hot tub after a day of adventures to relax. Outdoor seating offers the opportunity for al fresco dining during your stay and you can also venture into the surrounding woodland for some exploring if you fancy. There is also private parking for two cars.

  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Very spacious and furnished well and most things you need are there including tea coffee sugar and milk which was a godsend

Excellent however we were lucky the Acorn property was not let as very close proximity to Oak in which we stayed, which would of detracted our privacy

Lovely cabin in a quiet location. There is another cabin on the site which is very close by however we had lovely neighbours and we didn't hear them. The stairs in this cabin are very steep so something to be aware of. Over all we loved our stay and would come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this well equipped log cabin. Great location for exploring local beaches. We were surprised by how quiet this part of Cornwall was even in August.

Great secluded setting, yet only 15 minutes drive from amenities in Bude. All mod cons in the cabin. We took our Woodfire grill, which complimented the set up. Sleeping arrangements were perfect and plenty of room for the family. The wood fired hot tub is an added bonus and was very welcoming after a day at the beach. There is even a telescope for Read moresome star gazing, which with no light pollution, was amazing!! Thanks again for a fabulous week away. Hide

The cabin is next door to another cabin, on description says its a scelued but it's not, the neighbours were lovely anyway but just in the description would of been nice. Maybe more equipment for the bbq & outside plates & things. The toliet door wouldn't lock & toliet seat very loose Very lovely place to relax, we visited summerleaze beach and speRead morent alot of time at the cabin because it was so lovely and beautiful weather Huttub was great but no bubbles Hide

Absolutely loved the lodge. Already looking for dates to rebook. The hot tub was lovely and just loved the feel of the lodge and how cosy and warm it was. Really peaceful location, accommodation is superb with everything you will need. Even large jars of coffee , sugar & teabags provided. Very clean on arrival. Shower was powerful with many jets. Both balconies were stunning. Bedding was excellent & clean. Hot tub , well amazing. Loads of wood to burn even for my wife . 5 all the way.

This was our first holiday as a family, and it was perfect. The cabins are in a great location within the private woodland, only a short drive from the local beaches and shops. Lovely lodge surrounded by trees, in beautiful clearing. Only a few miles to Bude and popular beaches. Hot tub great to come back to after being out all day!

This place is paradise. It's like something from a book and I can't believe it exists untouched in 2022. The moment we pulled up I felt like I'd entered a fairytale: accessible, beautiful and safe for us & our rescue dogs to enjoy freely.
