This is a really lovely house, with a nice enough view and a suntrap garden. Nicely sheltered too. Rooms are a lovely size, swimming pool was great and not too far off the beaten track either. Lovely typical old farmhouse, high ceilings, big windows, wonky wooden floors and good atmosphere. The heated pool was a bonus.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We had a fabulous week here, days by the great swimming pool facilities with good pool sun loungers, BBQs at this section of the garden which is a great set up and then playing snooker in the evening with the family. A great family house.

Beautiful house with big rooms which were well equipped, situated in a lovely location with views across to Wadebridge, and the owners were very helpful. The outdoor swimming pool was a very good size and always warm. The property was well situated for various good beaches and other attractions. The owners were very helpful.

We have just had a fabulous week away at this property. Yes, the place could do with some tlc, but in fairness the house is comfortable and the swimming pool, outside dining area and the sunset across the camel River makes up for any modernising the property needs. We would definitely come back.

Just returned from a lovely week here! We were a party of 4 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for us all, really comfy beds I slept so well! The views are stunning and the gardens very peaceful. The location is great, not to far to shops etc and very private. Of course the highlight was the heated pool which we all made good use of!

Such a lovely place to stay! The pool was amazing, bigger than expected and heated so we could use it even when the weather wasn't great. The house had plenty of space for all eight of us and was really comfy and clean. We also enjoyed the snooker table on rainy days and were close to Wadebridge, Padstow and loads of beaches for days out.

Fantastic building, in a great location, facilities were great and the host Simon was friendly and welcoming. The 2 things what let it down is there was a fly problem in 2 of the rooms, huge amount of flies above the dinner table around the light, not ideal when eating, also in 1 of the double rooms so many flies we had to hoover around the window.Read more After hoovering they just came back. North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
