This attractive holiday home found in the heart of the upmarket surfing haven, Polzeath in North Cornwall, makes for a comfortable home-from-home. Lazy summer afternoons are best enjoyed in the garden or at the beach, making this cottage an excellent choice. With its spacious and appealing interior, this property has been designed with holidaying families in mind.
Decorated in soothing neutral tones the interior makes for a great choice of place to take a blissful break away from everyday life. Cook up a storm in the kitchen, then simply stretch out on the sundeck or in the comfortable lounge; both are calming backdrops to rest in at the end of a day full of outdoor play. Polzeath Bluebird is an ideal choice if you are looking for a restful retreat and long break getting to know the Duchy.
Polzeath is a lesser-known beach resort around the headland from the Camel River estuary and has previously hit the press as being a favourite surf spot of the Royals and one or two prime ministers. This village is home to some good amenities including a few shops and eateries. Conveniently located a short drive from the A39, it's excellent for touring North Cornwall so be sure to add Boscastle, Tintagel, and Padstow, which are all under 15 miles, to your itinerary. The neighbouring village of Rock (3 miles) was home to the late former poet laureate Sir John Betjeman. If you like ale, Doombar is made in Rock at Sharpe's Brewery (5 miles).
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
