This bijou apartment is one of eight properties set in a quiet courtyard within a caravan and camping park 2 miles inland from Looe on the Polperro Heritage Coast in South Cornwall. It's an ideal couple's getaway or extra accommodation for extended families booking other properties here. With access to excellent shared leisure facilities on-site, including an indoor heated pool and hot tub, and many local attractions, you'll easily relax into your classic Cornish break.

You'll be charmed by the traditional facade of this attached bungalow, stone-built with pretty window-frame details and accessed up two shallow steps. Inside, clever use of space makes the bright and cosy kitchen/lounge/diner a comfortable haven for cooking up a delicious meal or relaxing with a DVD. The comfy sofa and peaceful surroundings will get you into holiday mode in no time. Outside, there's a seating area for sundowners beside cheerful flower-filled containers - or why not make use of the BBQ area, shared with other courtyard guests?

Looe has varied dining and shopping opportunities, from crafts and gifts to local produce and unrivalled locally-caught fish, as well as a pretty harbour river with fishing boats, and its own sandy beach. Arrange a boat trip to see St George's Island just off the coast, or try your luck at mackerel fishing - or if walking's your thing, the South West Coast Path has breathtaking views. There is a string of beaches nearby – Downderry is 4 miles away, and traditional Polperro village within 7 miles has a museum devoted to its intriguing smuggling past.

The cottage had everything we couldve wished for all kitchen utensils etc, however theyre wasnt a nice view had to keep curtains shut most of the time so people didnt look into the cottage. The sofa was too small and bed was so uncomfortable and noisy every time you rolled over or moved.

A compact but well equipped cottage. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything you needed. The kitchen was well equipped with a good oven and dishwasher.

Lovely comfortable little cottage set in pretty quiet courtyard spotless clean parking shop and pool all very close

Small but has everything you need. Set in a small courtyard of similar cottages, but you can't hear the neighbours through the walls. Location is close to Looe but far enough away that you don't get caught up in the local traffic. Park amenities are few and not much for children to do.

This cottage was perfect for my need. A nice clean comfortable base to explore Devon and Cornwall. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The holiday park was well presented and tidy. With the bonus of a swimming pool and spa pool. Would have no problem recommending this place to anyone.

This one-bedroomed cottage within a cottage courtyard was much to our liking, with easy access to the swimming poo and jacuzzy. Also its location away from the general campsite provided us with total privacy.

Amazing break with beautiful views and the most comfiest bed I have slept in years!

I loved the cottage and my visiting Grandchildren who live nearby were safe in the cottage area. The barbecue section in the middle was a brilliant idea and although we were there in January we used it twice in the week. I will definitely visit again.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
