This stunning property nestles in a totally secluded and private setting in the grounds of the owners’ home, on the St Michael’s Way footpath, and just under two miles from the centre of St. Ives.

In a naturally beautiful corner of south west Cornwall, this modern holiday home offers a perfectly situated base for your holiday adventures. On bright sunny days, explore the expansive sandy beaches and coastal walks along the South West Coast Path which you have access to at Carbis Bay (0.5 miles). This can take you right into St Ives (1.5 miles) where you can explore The Hepworth Museum and the Tate St Ives art gallery, among other attractions.

Prepare your meals in the well-equipped, bright modern kitchen diner. You can eat indoors or al fresco on the decking, then maybe take your coffee onto the balcony to enjoy the garden and coastal views. The patio doors fold right back from the lounge onto the balcony, so that the garden becomes an extension of the home. In such a secluded spot in private grounds, this could make for blissful long summer evenings. On more chilly evenings, light a fire in the wood burner and enjoy the cosiness as you relax on the comfy sofa.

You are ideally placed to enjoy some of Cornwall's most famous attractions. Visit the unique open air Minack Theatre (18 miles) on the coast near Penzance, set on the cliffs high above the Atlantic Ocean, where you can see drama, musicals and opera. Or you could visit the iconic landmark that is Land's End (19 miles), or the lively town of Redruth (14 miles) to enjoy the theatre or cinema.

Serenity is a sanctuary - and absolutely identical to the photographs .... if anything, they dont do it justice. To say we were sad to leave would be an understatement- this place has everything and more. There is. It enough space to really relay how perfect this place is. x

The property is absolutely beautiful and the owners are some of the most helpful we've ever stayed with. A lovely welcome pack on arrival was a treat when arriving late to Serenity. Perfect location to explore the local area, with many walks close by and from your doorstep. We hope to return one day.

The cottage was perfect! Sleek and stylish but so homely. Air con the bedroom was a winner for us as we like it nice and cold! The owners could not have been more nice and helpful. The binder of activities of whats in the area was a big help.

This is one of the best holiday cottages I have ever been to. It is well equipped and the owners provide a personal meet and greet service. Everything is high quality even theRead more velux windows being electrically controlled and having rain sensors to automatically close. A great welcome tray as well. We hope to be back soon. Hide

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
