Quirky and luxurious, this fascinating property offers a wonderfully romantic retreat for two just outside the village of St Agnes. Firmly immersed in its rural past - yet offering contemporary comforts throughout – this unique cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom and welcomes two canine companions. Historic and homely, it’s the perfect accommodation option for romantic couples who want to explore the incredible beauty of Cornwall’s coastline. Spend your days strolling hand in hand along some of the UK’s best beaches, and your evenings cuddling up in front of the cottage’s glowing wood burner.

From the moment you step inside this property, you’ll be impressed by the elegant, bespoke interior. Make your way through to the open-plan living room/kitchen/diner and make yourself at home in the chic kitchen area. Create a romantic meal for two and dine in the intimate dining area. After dinner, enjoy a glass of something cool and crisp on the front terrace (it’s fully enclosed if you have the dogs with you) or head to the lounge area to curl up on the sofa in front of the wood burner. At the end of the day, climb the charming staircase and you’ll find a gorgeous king-size bedroom with a lovely feature window.

Head to St Michael’s Mount (22.5 miles) for a romantic day out. Climb up to the highest point of the bedrock and make a wish. It’s said that if you make a romantic wish while touching the stone it will be granted. Alternatively, jump into a double-kayak at Trevaunance Cove (6 miles) and go on a guided adventure along the north coast. Or head to the outdoor Minack Theatre (33.5 miles), carved into the clifftops overlooking Porthcurno Bay, to cuddle up under a blanket and watch a live show.

Map
Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
