Perfect for families wanting a peaceful escape, with a heated outdoor pool and play facilities, this beautiful wooden-clad holiday retreat is a great base for exploring Cornwall.

With an on-site outdoor heated swimming pool, play facilities, fishing available locally, and quick access to the A38, Notter Mill is a great base for you to explore the South West. This wonderful complex of lodges nestles on the banks of the River Lynher in a peaceful and secluded setting with a tranquil atmosphere and boasts plenty for the family to do. Local attractions include Adrenaline Quarry (10 miles) and the Eden Project (30 miles) or venture out to the coast and visit the popular fishing village of Looe (12 miles) with bars, restaurants, local shops, and boat trips. With the local pub 500 metres from your door and supermarkets 2.5 miles away, you will have everything you need for a great break away.

Enter the lodge and step into a very spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with plenty of light and a wonderfully open feel, just perfect for families. The kitchen is complete with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, the perfect place to pack up a good lunch for the day or cook up a delicious evening meal. Heading through to the lounge/dining area, you will find a great sociable place to spend time either around the dining table or relaxing on the comfy seating in front of the open fire and watching your favourite programmes on the TV with Freeview. Continuing through to the two bedrooms, the first is a lovely king-size bedroom with plenty of storage space and filled with light, and the second is the twin bedroom. Next door is the bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC.

Outside is a wonderful patio area with garden furniture and a private hot tub for you to bubble away in after a long day, as well as a shared lawn to use. The complex has a coin-operated launderette available on-site for guests, along with a play area, tennis court, and an outdoor heated swimming pool (open from Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May to early September) for all to enjoy. There is parking for one car on the private driveway outside the lodge, and further parking in the shared private car park.

Just come back from a 7 night stay in 19 Tan Harvey, the notters mill country park was very tranquil and quite the owners and staff was friendly and accommodating but still made your stay privet with daily hot tub checks. Have already recommended to family and would definitely return in the future. Location is very secluded but everything you need Read moreis a 10 min drive away with looe beach 30mins drive made it a great location for a relaxing week in Cornwall. We stayed at Tan Harvey 19 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The site is very peaceful and the hot tub was a pleasure to use. The cabin was very clean and the WiFi worked instantly. The holiday home was nice, and the surrounding area was quite nice, had to drive quite a bit to get to attractions, usually at least a 25 to 30 minute drive. I did feel a bit let down by the advertising however. The ad says 'pool available from May through September' we went for the 22nd May and the pool was closed until the 27th May, which means iRead moret was only open for 3 days at the end of May which I felt should have been stated in the ad as it was the reason we chose Tan Harvey 19. What a wonderful stay for me and my family. Private parking space outside the property, Hot tub, fully fitted out kitchen with cleaning equipment/supplies and lovely bedrooms with plenty of storage space for a wonderful home from home stay.
