Boutique-style lodge with hot tub and fire pit, close to the Eden Project and the pretty villages of Fowey and Charlestown. Enjoy easy access to the beaches and attractions of South Cornwall.

The lodge is centrally located between the Eden Project and Lanhydrock House in the heart of Cornwall, with fantastic beaches nearby. Just across the road is access to Helman Tor, a nature reserve spanning 500 acres, perfect for dog walks. To the south are the coastal towns of Fowey, Looe and Charlestown, all within 10 miles. To the north lies the ever-popular destinations of Port Isaac, famed in the TV show Doc Martin, Padstow, Rock, and Polzeath which is one of the country’s surfing hot spots, all within 20 miles. From the cottage, you can visit the local village pubs at Lanivet, Luxulyan and Lanlivery. Attractions include cycling at Cardinham, the National Lobster Hatchery, Newquay Zoo, Karting at St Eval, many National Trust properties and an 18-hole golf course in Bodmin (20 miles).

If you're looking for a special setting for a romantic retreat, then this property certainly delivers. Enter the bespoke lounge/kitchen/diner, a wonderfully light and spacious room that has been thoughtfully styled. The kitchen area has all you require for your holiday home cooking requirements, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. After a day of exploring, take time to relax in the lounge with your favourite movie on the Smart TV. Doors from the central lounge/kitchen/dining area lead you to the bedroom and shower room. The bedroom, a good-size double, features plenty of storage and is the perfect spot for a lazy morning or breakfast in bed. This room also houses a utility cupboard for the washing machine and tumble dryer. Completing the lodge is the shower room with a large double shower, underfloor heating and a WC.

Heading outside, there is ample off-road parking and a secure, private enclosed garden, set on differing levels with various areas to sit and relax. This fantastic garden boasts a hot tub, fire pit, BBQ and garden furniture, the perfect place to soak up the sun or stargaze of an evening.

This property is so underrated. We loved this property and would easily be in our top three/20 for the last 15 years. Great Hot tub, all the comfort you could want for a couple. Comfy bed, nice sized bedroom. Ample cooking space. Good size T.V. for a change. Superb outdoor chilling space and BBQ area.....

Beautiful place to stay. We couldn't fault anything. The owner was very helpful, and warm. Luna our dog loved the country walks, and the sea . We were located in the middle of the country side, but didn't have to travel far to fantastic pubs to eat. It wasn't far from the sea. We look forward to returning. This place is absolutely incredible. Our batteries have been completely recharged! The hot tub was so relaxing, and the firepit was great in the evenings. The owners had thought of everything, down to hot water bottles, robes, and even a bottle of wine to welcome us. Absolutely lovely place to stay. Cabin was beautiful and so well equipped inside and in the enclosed (and very dog proof) garden! Perfect location with everything in good distances! We came for our honeymoon but would love to come back in the summer and make more use of the garden!

Great location! Easy access to Padstow/ Newquay/ Fowey and Looe! The owner was extremely accommodating and had really thought through the basic necessities! We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at the Cabin for our minimoon. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. What a lovely hideaway The Cabin retreat is! We had everything that was needed for a very comfortable stay. The Cabin Retreat does exactly what it says - it's a perfect bolthole to get away from it all and forget about any stresses and strains. Me and my husband booked The Cabin Retreat for a few nights because we couldn't face going through an airport. So glad we did.
